Subject: Poker will not be publishing any more articles.
Currently, Thomas Bakker and I are starting a poker security consulting company.1 As a result, I can no longer guarantee my independence as editor-in-chief. Subject: Poker‘s founding principle is independence, so it would be inappropriate for me to continue Subject: Poker.
The website will stay up with all articles intact for the foreseeable future, but it will naturally become a bit of a relic as time passes and no new articles are added. I hope that it will continue to prove a useful resource for the poker community.
Diamond Flush has decided to start a new poker news site, Diamond Flush Poker. Diamond has been an incredible member of our team who’s written many of our most important articles, including the first story to mention Full Tilt’s french investor; our story correcting the AGCC’s false numbers; all stories related to the pending deal between GBT, FTP, and the DOJ; our recent story exposing Chris Ferguson’s secret bank accounts; and many others. DFP will be inheriting much of our data, sources, and research as well. We look forward to getting our news from there, and we recommend that our readers do the same.
Subject: Poker‘s farewell has been in the works for a while now. In particular, to avoid accepting money under false pretenses, we simply broke our donations link two weeks ago, and nobody has donated to us since. We will now restore the link. Our modest sum of unspent donations and any future donations to Subject: Poker will go to our various maintenance fees, with any surplus going (lovingly) to Diamond’s new site. If any of our donors do not agree with this decision, they can simply e-mail team@subjectpoker.com for a prompt refund (less PayPal’s transaction fees).
Subject: Poker‘s only payments have been for various maintenance fees, PACER bills, transport costs, and two company lunches. In particular, nobody has profited off of the site.
So, goodbye. We’ve enjoyed keeping the poker community informed for the past eight or nine months. Thanks for being a part of that. We hope Diamond Flush will be able to bring us some good news.

“Currently, Thomas Bakker and I are starting a poker security consulting company.”
When I wrote about online poker’s need for an independent security and auditing firm, Noah SD was the first name which jumped into my head. Subject: Poker will be missed, but hopefully the poker world will benefit from your skills in other ways now.
Good luck
And thx for all the hard work.
WP Sirs. .Thank You !
WP Sirs. Thank You !
I guess it was too much to hope that you guys would continue doing this labor of love for little/no money. I am sure we will be seeing more of both of you soon; best wishes for whatever that is.
Any chance of giving any personal opinions before you go of what percentage chance you give for the Tapie deal to come to fruition after recent disclosures and comments from Tapie and his Lawyer?
that sucks
thx for all the hard work!
gl in your new ventures in security consulting
Farewell mighty subject: Poker – Its been great knwing you
So what is a poker security company do exactly?
It’s a pity. When you google poker news, you come up second. Right behind the obvious pokernews.com.
Why has Subject Poker never covered Tapie’s involvement with Atlas Poker which went broke under his watch stiffing the players a few years back?
Is Diamond Flush ever going to publish anything unsupportive of Tapie?
Just seems that SP and DF have been very sympathetic and supportive of Tapie to date which is rather strange as you would think all the good and bad associated with Tapie and/or FTP was fiar game in the journalistic world and search for truth and reporting of facts.
Thanx for everything. And good luck in your future business endeavora
Read your site…followed your stories on 2plus2 AND your comments, you two have passion and integrity…Yes To Peace
Its a shame you guys are closing down, this site seemed to have a good load of articles for people to read. Good luck for the future!
Good luck to you all, been an interesting read over the last few months. Good luck for the future.

Wish you all the best with that!
You will be missed, really enjoyed reading your articles.
I LOVED the articles this site once produced. I used to check it almost religiously to keep up to date with the latest news int the Poker world. Sad to see it go.
All the best. You provided the world of Poker with some great stories.
Thanks a lot for your hard work and content. And good luck!
Such a valued website in the poker community, wish you all the best of luck in new (and probably now current) ventures!
First of all, congratulations on your new venture, which makes your departure from “Subject:Poker” logical. Good luck in your new venture.
Please try to find someone that can take “Subject: Poker” on and make it grow. There some great people out there that could do it. Sell it and get paid over ten years!
You have done such a good job it is sad to see you stop like this
Sorry to hear that. Always loved reading this site -.-
